Opening day of flounder season is today. We have bloodworms now and fresh clams will be in later this morning. Island heights and the Mantoloking Bridge should be 2 of the early season hotspots that will produce fish today. Good Luck, John

Bloodworms are in. Reports from Toms River and the bay indicate stripers are hitting worms and plugs including James Blandino keepers over 10# and numerous shorts. Flounder are also hitting worms intended for the stripers, please make sure to release these fish as the season doesn’;t open til the 23rd…John
