Fishing Report

Great day to hit the beach! North west winds and no flies, couple that with some hungry keeper fluke and small slashing blues and you have some real entertainment not to mention some fine eating. Crabbing is still a work in progress weeding through those just small crabs but keeping at it will pay off with some nice keepers. The bottom fishing in the bay and off the dock remains good with pleanty of snapper blues and spot to keep the anglers busy. Looking for some nice live sand worms to change things up a bit we have pleanty, along with fresh bunker and clams  John Yac

Fishing Report

Long awaited fresh bunker has arrived! The fluke and small blue fish are the main targets in the surf right now, while some king fish and croakers will come and go. The rays right now seem to be here to stay, so getting by them with fresh bait at times can be difficult. Crabbing has slowed, but if you have the will to weed through the small ones a catch of keepers is not out of the question. King fish, snapper blues, spot and blow fish are keeping the bay fisherman  busy. Fluke in the BB, BI and oaster creek areas are being reported. So don’t forget for all your fishing needs we have a great selection of fresh and frozen baits.  John Yac.

Fishing Report

Small blues and keeper fluke in the surf is the word for today. Some 1 to 2 lb blues are showing up in the surf along with a few keeper fluke. The king fish and croaker bite has slowed a bit. Still pleanty of those  pesky rays out there though. Nothing fancy on the blue fish methord, cut bait or metal will work nicely and for the fluke buck tail jigs tipped with gulp or squid are accounting for most of the catches. Nice size snapper blues are starting to show now in the bay while crabbing has slowed a bit. John Yac

Fishing Report

Sorry for the interuptions in our fishing reports. We have been having upload problem, but seem to have them solved! The ocean sean remains the same, fluke holding in the inlets and along the dropoffs off the beaches. King fish are still taking worms and fish bites fished on small high-lo rigs. Some small blues are in and out of the surf at times hitting cut bait and metal. The night bite is still seeing sharks amd rays on cut baits. Every now and then your we hear of a keeper bass in the dark of night taking cut bait or clams. Crabbing has slowed a bit since the full moon but a fair catch is still available with just a bit more effort. Bottom fishing in the bay is still blow fish in the BB, BI and oaster creek areas wit the occasional keeper fluke and weak fish on the drift.  John Yac.
